Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 5, 2026
Stitch (“Stitch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a recruiting-intelligence platform for college football coaching staffs. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and application (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
Information We Collect
- Account and contact information you provide — such as your name, work email address, program or organization, and role — when you request access, correspond with us, or use the Service.
- Content you create in the Service, such as notes, ratings, board/target selections, and messages within your program's workspace.
- Usage and device data collected automatically, such as log data, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, and similar diagnostics.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in and to understand and improve how the Service is used.
The player information in the Service is compiled from publicly available and licensed sources (for example, public rosters, statistics, and highlight film). It concerns athletes in their public, athletic capacity and is intended for use by authorized coaching staff.
How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
- To authenticate users and administer program workspaces;
- To respond to inquiries and provide support;
- To monitor and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
YouTube API Services
Stitch uses YouTube API Services to help coaches find publicly available football highlight film for players. By using the parts of the Service that display this film, you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google's collection and use of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://www.google.com/policies/privacy).
Our use of YouTube data is limited, public, and display-only:
- Stitch accesses only public video metadata through the YouTube Data API — video IDs, titles, channel names, publish dates, durations, view counts, and thumbnails. We do not access, request, or store any private data belonging to any YouTube user, and the Service does not require you to sign in to YouTube or connect a Google/YouTube account.
- Highlight videos are shown to coaches using the standard YouTube embedded player; video playback and any data collected during playback are governed by YouTube and Google.
- We cache YouTube video IDs so that results load quickly. All other stored YouTube metadata is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, and any stored video that YouTube reports as removed, private, or unavailable is purged.
- We do not sell YouTube data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties, and we do not use it to build user profiles of any YouTube viewers.
Questions about our YouTube data handling can be sent to hello@stitchxo.com.
How We Share Information
- Within your program. Content you create is visible to members of your program's workspace, consistent with the Service's design.
- Service providers. We share information with vendors that host, secure, and operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting and database providers) under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing services to us.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Stitch, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, after which we delete or de-identify it. YouTube metadata is retained only as described in the YouTube API Services section above.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at hello@stitchxo.com. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for coaching professionals and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
