Answers to the questions coaches and staff ask most. This covers Stitch everywhere it runs — the web app, the desktop app, and the mobile app. Using the app itself? The same list is one tap away behind the ? button (top right on desktop, the edge of the screen on web).

How do I change the grading scale?

Go to Front Office. Open Evaluation. Click “Change the scale.” Pick a template, or click “Customize” to build your own. Set your own scale, your own grade levels, and your own definitions. Save it. Every seat on your staff sees the new scale right away.

What can each role do?

Owner and Admin see everything. They handle the budget, the roster allocation, the deal ledger, and staff invites. Scout does everything a Staff member does, plus one thing more: a Scout can change the grading scale. Coach has the same access as a Staff member. Staff member can search, build boards, grade players, and write notes, but cannot see the budget or invite new staff. Viewer can look but not touch. A Viewer cannot post a note, grade a player, or start a board.

Who can see the budget?

Only Owner and Admin. Everyone else, including Scout and Coach, cannot see the budget, the roster allocation, or the deal ledger.

How do I add a player to a board?

Open the player’s card. Click “Add to board.” Pick the board you want, or start a new one.

What does “Est. market price” mean?

It is Stitch’s read on what a program would pay this player right now. Some players do not have enough of a market to give a real number. When that happens, the card says so instead of guessing.

How do I invite someone to my workspace?

Go to Front Office. Open Seats & Staff Access. Enter their name, email, and role. Click “Save them a seat.” They get an email with a link to join.

I want to create a list of players that I can turn into a board. How do I do this?

Use a Smart Board. Type what you want in plain English, like “every FCS corner with two years left.” Click “Preview matches,” then “Build board.” Stitch keeps checking the rule and flags new players who match later.

Can I search inside a board?

Yes. Every board has its own search box at the top. Type a name, position, school, or class year and the list filters right away. Press Enter on a real question, like “long corners who can run,” and Stitch searches just that board.

What does “Find similar” do?

It looks at a player’s whole profile and finds others like him across the catalog, not just his team or division. It opens a new search for “players like [his name].” Add words to narrow it, like “players like him in the portal.”

What are DUDES?

Your personal list of guys you like. Tap the flame on any player card to flag him. He shows up under DUDES in your sidebar. It has nothing to do with boards. A player can be a Dude and be on zero boards, or on ten. It is Stitch’s version of a like button.

How do I add a player to Portal Watch?

You do not. Portal Watch is a list Stitch builds on its own, players it thinks are most likely to enter the portal soon, updated weekly. You cannot drag a player onto it or take one off.

What is a War Room?

A group chat for your staff, organized by topic. Stitch starts you with Transfer Portal and H.S. Recruiting. Post there, tag a teammate, talk through a player. Click “+ Add room” to start your own.

Why does a player’s grade show a dashed question mark?

No one on your staff has graded him yet. Click it to open “Evaluate” and enter your own grade. A grade is different from a note: a note is free text, a grade is a real number on your scale.

Can I export my search results?

Yes. Click “Export” above your results. Give it a title and Stitch builds a PDF with your filters and the top players, ready to send or print. You get a set number of exports each month.

What shows up on My Desk?

Anyone tagging you, replying to you, or messaging you directly: a mention, a War Room reply, a DM, a note a teammate shared, or Stitch’s own answer to something you sent in. Board activity does not show here; a board with new action gets its own glow instead.

What does the small icon next to a stat mean?

That is a source chip. It shows where the fact came from, like 247Sports or the NCAA. Click it to see the source and a link when one exists.

Still stuck?

Email hello@stitchxo.com and a person on the Stitch team will write back. If you’re signed in to the app already, “Still stuck? Ask us” at the bottom of the in-app FAQ reaches the same inbox and keeps a reference number on the thread.
